I love the language of Paige! It is absolutely adorable, and I'll be so sad when she learns to say things the right way. She is twenty-one months old and has quite a list of words that she says. Here is a quick guide.
- Peepa: Pizza
- Dookie: Cookie
- Plip: Chip (sometimes when she wants chips she does say "chip" but about half the time she says plip)
- Do: Juice (this actually applies to any beverage that isn't water or milk)
- Wa-du: Water
- Milt: Milk
- Chin: Cheek
- I want teeters: I want to brush my teeth (want is the most common word in her vocabulary)
- Shim shu: Swim Suit
- Batf: Bath
- Tyoot: Cute
- I want houd you: I want you to hold me (this one is pretty common among many children her age I think)
- Day do: Thank you
- Plop plop: Flip flop
- Chee: Take my picture
- Nate: Snake
- Beebee: Baby
- Bey Bey: Bey Blade
- Nana: Banana
- Nana: Brianna
- Eeela: Eli
- Paydz: Paige
- Pay: Play
- Peese: Please
- Doddee: Doggy (this actually applies to any animal that she doesn't know the name of)
- Sewal: Cereal
Chee!
I love how she says plop plop! That's exactly what they sound like. Brilliant.
ReplyDeleteI've heard her say "peepa," "tyoot beebee," "Nana and Eeela," and "I want houd you." Paige is kind of shy around me, though. I'll have to fix that!
